Rituals travel well, and they can move with your family across any border.

2. Honor Every Culture in Your Family Story

Children feel rooted when they can see all the parts of themselves reflected and celebrated. You might:

• Cook dishes from the different places your family has lived or come from.
• Keep photos, objects, or music from those places within easy reach.
• Talk openly about your own childhood and the traditions you loved.
